Behind The Beatbrief

The Beatbrief was created to be a launching pad. A resource repository. A tool for discovery.

I say it was created, but it willed itself into being. It almost demanded to be brought into existence. Sometimes, we become just a conduit— we find ourselves in a position where we know, at our core, that what we stumbled upon is bigger than, and beyond us.

Music has gotten me through many of my darkest days. I’m deeply familiar with its healing power. And if sharing more of it can brighten even just one person’s life in a similar way, then I’m all in.

This project is for the people. For you. For me.

For all of us to have a platform to share what brings us joy and relief and catharsis.

To celebrate what’s new, what’s unfamiliar.

To celebrate each other.

My wish is that this space we’re building together around music will expand all our auditory horizons, and become a platform for building up emerging visionary artists and ethical fashion brands. In this age of algorithms, we’re taking our exposure to information into our own hands. Hope you’ll join us.
